Playoff Procedures

First Half:

The Division winner is determined by best overall record through scheduled games 1-27 – as determined by winning percentage

Rainouts or canceled games in the first half:

- Every effort shall be made to complete all scheduled games in the first half before the completion of the first half (the first half is considered completed when all WCL teams have completed their originally scheduled 27 league games).

- In the event that a game scheduled in the first half cannot be completed until the second half, the results of that game(s) will count in the second half standings.

In the event of a tie between (2) or more teams:

> Tie-Breaker #1: Head-to-head record (min of 3 games) – determined by winning percentage.

In the event of a tie OR no head-to-head

> Tie-Breaker #2: Head-to-head run differential.

In the event of a tie OR no head-to-head:

> Tie-Breaker #3: Run differential against all WCL opponents through first (27) games.

In the event of a tie:

> Tie-Breaker #4: Best home win-loss record through first (27) games

In the event of a tie:

> Tie-Breaker #5: A coin flip

Second Half:

The team with the best record for game 28-54 as originally scheduled wins the second half (as determined by winning percentage).

* If the team that wins the first half also wins the second half, the team (of remaining teams in the division) with the best overall record for the full season win the second half.

* If the team that win the first half finishes in a tie for first place in the second half of the season with another team (as determined by winning percentage), and they are only tied with (1) team, the team with which the first-place team is tied wins the second playoff spot (wild card).

In the event of a tie between two or more teams tied with the best overall record OR tied for the second-half lead (as determined by winning percentage):

> Tie-Breaker #1: Best overall season record of the remaining teams

In the event of a tie between (2) or more teams that have the best overall season record OR tied for best record in the second half and does not include a team that won the first half:

> Tie-Breaker #2: Head-to-head record over the course of the ENTIRE season (not just the second half)

In the event of a tie:

> Tie-Breaker #3: Season-long record against the team that won the first half

In the event of a tie:

> Tie-Breaker #4: Run differential against DIVISION opponents for the entire season

In the event of a tie:

> Tie-Breaker #5: Better home win-loss record for the entire season

In the event of a tie:

> Tie-Breaker #6: A coin flip
